Group Training OverviewSavvy provides numerous health & fitness programs that cater for a wide range of clientele. Our programs are unique, innovative and effective. These programs are designed to incorporate all of the health & fitness components and to produce maximum results.

Savvy has taken an innovative approach to group training. Savvy is about allowing you to easily incorporate activity into your lifestyle. All you have to do is show up.

Offering over 20 classes on the schedule and two locations we have discovered a winning formula to keep our members continually challenged and satisfied with their training.

Savvy strives to consistently create a culture of welcome and a fun vibrant atmosphere like no other whilst enjoying the benefits of training in an outdoor environment.

When training in a group, motivation levels stay strong and strong bonds are formed. Physically you will be achieving your desired goals much faster while emotionally you will experience support and friendship from others in achieving these goals.

Trainers

All of our trainers are fully qualified and are there to support & encourage you whilst you learn new skills and engage in challenging activities - Meet our Savvy Trainers

We provide a minimum of 2 and up to 5 qualified instructors each class of whom facilitate your progress.

Trainers will design and implement sessions allowing for varying fitness levels. When required, trainers will provide options for beginners, intermediate, advanced and those dealing with injury or medical conditions.

We ensure that our trainers are always up to date with the latest fitness training techniques and equipment.

Our group programs are specifically structured to create a positive affect in your performance.

The group training schedule is specifically designed to allow for variety in your training and to cater for a wide range of training abilities and needs. The programs we offer are listed below and cater for all ages & all levels of fitness. Some programs do not require equipment whilst many do.

Savvy provides all equipment necessary and uses the most up to date, safe methods of training.

We often make use of Bosu Balls, Fit Balls, Yoga Mats, Punching Gloves & Pads, Inners, Weight Bar & Plates, Medicine Balls, Kettle Bells, Resistance Bands, TRX and more.

Circuit

circuitCircuit: An outdoor circuit based class incorporating a combination of resistance and cardio respiratory based exercises. This class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

 

Core

coreCore: The Bosu ball (An athletic training device shaped like a dome) has a unique combination of stable/unstable options that predominantly works the core muscles as it challenges balance and stability. The Bosu allows for a wide range of users, from the young, elderly, injured or the elite level athlete.

   

Flex

flexFlex: Core conditioning combined with static stretching, balance work and yoga poses. The focus of this session is to improve strength, flexibility and core stability. Flex is useful in combination with all other Savvy programs.

 

Interval

Survivor7_S23_IMG_8910-20091216Interval: High intensity with recovery. Utilises the outdoors and various terrain whether it be hills, sand, stairs or flats. This session has a great team and camaraderie aspect and may involve the use of fitness games. One of the fastest ways to improve cardiovascular fitness!

   

Lift

Lift: requires the use of weights. Lift challenges all your major muscle groups as it strengthens and conditions your entire body. Sure to improve your overall body composition and your body's ability to burn energy efficiently.

All weights are provided.

 

Nutrition

Nutrition - Our nutrition workshop is run by our expert nutritionist and Jumpstart Coach.

This session focuses on nutrient rich eating - keeping participants accountable and on track with a healthy diet.

   

Punch

Run

Survivor7_S23_IMG_6981-20091213Run: There are 2 types of RUN sessions. Interval RUN and Continuous RUN. Here we concentrate on improving speed and cardiovascular endurance.

Savvy Athletes

Savvy Athletes: Specialised training and preparation for specific events throughout the year.

The activities could include running, cycling, swimming, yoga, strength training and more. This class is suitable for any participant looking to improve their fitness and athletic performance.

 

Savvy Kids

Savvy Kids: Savvy Kids is a 45 minute session which is aimed at getting kids active!.

Savvy Mums and Bubs
