An Active Christmas Day

Every year Christmas comes and goes and we all have special memories of each year. This year if you don't already, how about adding some form of activity into your day. Be creative and make it fun and exciting. Get the family involved and make use of new toys and perhaps the swimming pool.

Don't wait for the new year to start your quest for peak fitness, start now. When we are active on a regular basis, everything is better: We are happier, less stressed, more physically capable and we just simply feel good. What better way than to spend Christmas Day than feeling good! 

Below are some tips to make it happen:

  • Plan it. Shop for toys and games that encourage movement rather than those that can be used on the lounge.
  • Get Moving. If you don't have early morning present opening then get up and move first thing, if you put it off you might not get it done.
  • Make it fun. It's Christmas, it's a day for fun and laughter. Play games, add competition and get the whole family involved. Make it your most memorable Christmas yet.
  • Get outside. Get some fresh air and enjoy the Illawarra's beautiful surroundings. Hit the beach or the park.
