Aaron Jacobs - May 2012
Aaron is one of the most positive, friendly and inspiring young men we have had the pleasure of training with. Aaron's commitment to our 2012 RUN program has seen him running interval sessions, endurance sessions and seen him pounding the pavement for 2 hours at a time.
He has progressed into a truly passionate runner who has not missed a single prescribed RUN session in the 10 weeks so far. Aaron's support for others is tremendous and has assisted those around him in achieving their own goals. He is an asset to the team a true soldier and someone who truly reflects the inclusive culture of Savvy.
Name: Aaron Jacobs
Age: 29
Status: In A Relationship
Children: None.
Occupation: Technical Manager, RODIN Business Solutions.
Town of Residence: Wollongong
Favourite Hobby: Exercising, DJ’ing.
When did you start Savvy & Why: Did the previous two Savvy Summer Survivor sessions with some friends and loved it. Cancelled my gym membership and joined Savvy in January 2012 because the outdoors and scheduled classes suited me better. Never looked back since!
Favourite Class: Run Club! With Saturday morning boxing a close second.
What do you enjoy most about Savvy: The people! Everyone is very encouraging and supportive in everything we do. This includes all of the awesome trainers and the other Savvy’s alike!
What have you gained from Savvy, have you achieved any goals: Since starting Savvy I have achieved more than I could have imagined, in only 6 months! I could only run 5km’s when I started the run club and can now run a half marathon in a time I am proud of! I have made some great friends along the way and have to thank them for pushing me through every class!
Anything you would like to say: Firstly a big thanks to Ang and all of the trainers. All of your support makes a huge difference, especially when you ride next to us while we run around in the rain. Next a big thanks to the Savvy’s who lift, push, punch and run with me (you all know who you are). And last, but not least, a big thanks to my partner Amanda for putting up with me during all of the hours I put in to Savvy!
