Age: 27
Status: In a relationship
Children: 0
Occupation: High School Teacher
Town of Residence: Currently living in Gwynneville but soon to be a Tarrawanna Local in our new home! (Thanks Phil Murrey, fellow red tribe member)
Favourite Hobby: Keeping Fit at Savvy has definitelybecome my favourite, but I do love drinking tea and eating chocolate ( am I allowed to say that?)
When did you start Savvy & Why: I started Savvy last summer survivor (2010) when Leah Ritchie recruited me to the Red tribe. I'm glad she did as it was such a great week, everybody pushing themselves further than they thought they could, I felt like it was the type of training I had been looking for..
Favourite Class: Tuesday night Interval at Wollongong. Pushes you to your limits and somehow caters for every kind of runner. It's a good feeling when everyone's putting in 100%.. U always feel good afterwards.
What do you enjoy most about Savvy: The group atmosphere, I like training as a big team. It makes it much easier to get out and exercise when you know people are out there doing the classes. I'm lucky all of my close friends do Savvy too so we all get to see each other when we train.
What have you gained from Savvy, have you achieved any goals: My Goal when I started was to start running and try to run 10km. I was pretty happy to finish the 9km bridge run, it was a little milestone.
Anything you would like to say: Just a big Thanks! It's awesome to be a part of something so positive, making a big difference to a lot of people's health and wellbeing. I'd recommend Savvy to anyone, for the Social aspect or if your looking for something more in your training.
